§ 32-11-213 — Conflicts in interest prohibited
(1)No director, officer,
employee, or agent of the district shall be interested in any contract or transaction
with the district, except in his official representative capacity or as is provided in his
contract of employment with the district, subject to the provisions of section 32-11-212.
(2)Neither the holding of any office or employment in the government of any
public body or of the federal government nor the owning of any property within the
state, within or without the district, shall be deemed a disqualification for
membership on the board or employment by the district or a disqualification for
compensation for services as a director or as an officer, employee, or agent of the
district, except as provided in section 32-11-212 and elsewhere in this article.
