Text
(1)An owner
of taxable personal property, situate on real property excluded from a fire
protection district, capable of being served with facilities of the special district may
file with the board a petition in writing requesting that such property be included in
the special district. The petition shall set forth an accurate description of the
taxable personal property owned by the petitioner to be included and shall state
that assent to the inclusion of such property in the special district is given by the
signer, being the owner of such property. The petition shall be acknowledged in the
same manner as required for conveyance of land.
(2)The board shall hear the petition at a public meeting after publication of
notice of the filing of such petition, the place, time, and date
