Text
Every county
treasurer who fails, neglects, or refuses to perform the duties of the office of the
treasurer set forth in this part 7 is guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction
thereof, shall be punished by a fine of not less than fifty dollars nor more than five
hundred dollars, and the court may adjudge that such treasurer be removed from
office. This section shall extend to the deputies of every such county treasurer.
