The clerk and recorder
shall maintain a file of all subdivision plats presented for recording in accordance
with law and all common interest community plats or maps presented for recording
in accordance with section 38-33.3-201, C.R.S. Subdivision plats shall be indexed in
the grantor index under the name of the person that signs and acknowledges the
plat as the owner and dedicator and in the grantee index under the name of the plat
shown thereon. The clerk and recorder shall also keep an alphabetical index of such
subdivision plats by the name of the plat. Common interest community plats or
maps shall be indexed in the same manner as the declaration for such community,
as provided in section 38-33.3-201, C.R.S.
