Text
The county clerk and recorder may accept
by electronic filing deeds and all other documents authorized by law to be recorded
in his or her office. To the extent the provisions of this part 4 differ from the
requirements of the federal Electronic Signatures in Global and National
Commerce Act, 15 U.S.C. sec. 7001 et seq., the provisions of this part 4 are
intended to modify, limit, or supercede the requirements of such act, as provided for
in section 7002 (a) of such act.
