Text
Notwithstanding anything to the
contrary contained in the housing authorities law or in any other provision of law,
any housing authority is empowered to include in any construction contract let in
connection with a housing project, as defined in said housing authorities law,
stipulations requiring that the contractor and any subcontractors comply with
requirements as to minimum wages and maximum hours of labor and with any
conditions or regulations which the federal government has imposed as a condition
to its financial aid to said housing project.
