Text
(1)The authority, acting by
and through the board, may acquire, construct, lease, rent, improve, equip, relocate,
maintain, and operate water quality control facilities, any project, or any part
thereof for the benefit of the authority and the inhabitants thereof, after the board
has made such preliminary studies and otherwise taken such action as it
determines to be necessary or desirable.
(2)(a) The authority shall develop a comprehensive program for the water
quality control facilities specified in subsection (1) of this section. A comprehensive
program may consist of one project or more than one project.
(b)A hearing on the proposed comprehensive program shall be scheduled,
and notice of the hearing shall be given by publication and posted in the office of
the county cler
