Text
The governing body of each
county and each city and county or any county or district public health agency
thereof or any welfare department thereof may provide and pay for, and each
county and each city and county or any public health agency or county or district
public health agency thereof or any welfare department thereof may offer, family
planning and birth control services to every parent who is a public assistance
recipient and to any other parent or married person who might have interest in, and
benefit from, such services; except that no county or city and county or public
health agency thereof is required by this section to seek out such persons.
