Text
As used in this part 2:
(1)Department means the department of public health and environment.
(2)Office means the office of cardiac arrest management created in
section 25-53-202.
(3)Public access defibrillator means an automated external defibrillator
approved for sale by the federal food and drug administration and available for use
by the general public.
(4)Sudden cardiac arrest means the sudden and unexpected cessation of
cardiac mechanical activity.
