Text
The department is
authorized to administer and supervise the enforcement of this part 3; to provide for
such periodic inspections and investigations as may be deemed necessary to
disclose violations; to collect samples of optional ingredients, mixes, and finished
products for analysis; to receive and provide for the investigation of complaints; and
to provide for the institution and prosecution of civil actions. The provisions of this
part 3 and the rules and regulations issued in connection therewith may be
enforced by injunction in any court having jurisdiction to grant injunctive relief, and
adulterated or misbranded articles illegally held or otherwise involved in a violation
of this part 3 or of said rules and regulations shall be subject to seizure and
disposition in accord
