§ 25-5-1601 — Definitions

As used in this part 16, unless the context otherwise requires:

(1)Department means the department of public health and environment created in section 25-1-102.

(2)Gas-fueled stove means a household stove, range, or cooktop that directly combusts a gaseous or liquid fuel, is used for indoor food preparation, and provides at least one of the following functions:

(a)Surface cooking;

(b)Oven cooking; or

(c)Broiling.
