As used in this part 6, unless the context otherwise requires:
(1)County board of health means the body acting as the county or district
board of health under the provisions of section 25-1-508.
(2)Health department means the department of public health and
environment or any county or district public health agency organized and
maintained under the provisions of part 5 of article 1 of this title.
(3)Health officer means the person appointed as the public health director
of a district, county, city, or town under the provisions of section 25-1-509.
(4)Inoculation against rabies means the administration of the antirabies
vaccine as approved by the department of public health and environment or the
county or district department of health.
(5)Owner means any person who has a
