Text
Authorized department personnel may
inspect and have access to all medical records of all medical practitioners,
hospitals, institutions, and clinics, both public and private, where persons with
known or suspected tuberculosis are treated and shall provide consultation
services regarding the control of tuberculosis and the care of persons having
tuberculosis to health-care providers or any other persons having responsibility for
the care of persons with tuberculosis. Authorized department personnel shall also
have access to laboratory records of persons tested for tuberculosis.
