§ 25-4-1703 — Definitions

As used in this part 17, unless the context otherwise requires:

(1)Board of health means the state board of health.
(2)Department means the state department of public health and environment.
(3)Infant means any child up to twenty-four months of age or any child eligible for vaccination and enrolled under the Colorado Medical Assistance Act, articles 4, 5, and 6 of title 25.5, C.R.S. (3.5) Minor means any child under eighteen years of age.
(4)Practitioner means a duly licensed physician or other person who is permitted and otherwise qualified to administer vaccines under the laws of this state.
(5)Vaccine means such vaccines as are determined by the board of health to be necessary to conform to recognized standard medical practices. Such term includes, but is not limited
