Text
(1)Bulk foods and product modules shall
be protected from contamination during display, customer self-service, refilling,
and storage.
(2)Containers of bulk pet foods and bulk nonfood items shall be separated
from product modules by a barrier or open space.
(3)Bulk foods returned to stores by customers shall not be offered for
resale.
(4)Only containers provided by stores in their display areas shall be filled
with bulk foods; except that any customer may fill or refill his own container with
vended or dispensed water; however, the risk that the customer's own container is
unsafe, unpure, contaminated, or in a nonsterile condition when it is filled or refilled
by the customer, shall be borne solely by the customer, and, except for warranties,
no liability shall attach there
