Text
(1)In denying a license application, the department shall issue its denial in accordance
with article 4 of title 24.
(2)(a) The department may suspend, revoke, or refuse to renew the license
of an ambulance service that is out of compliance with the requirements of this part
3 or rules adopted pursuant to this part 3. Except as provided in subsection (2)(b) of
this section, before taking final action to suspend or revoke a license, the
department shall conduct a hearing on the matter in accordance with article 4 of
title 24.
(b)The department may summarily suspend a license before a hearing in
accordance with section 24-4-104 (4)(a).
(3)After conducting a hearing pursuant to subsection (2)(a) of this section
and in accordance with article 4 of title 24, the department may
