Text

(1)There is hereby created the ambulance services cash fund, referred to in this section as the fund. The department shall transmit any fees collected pursuant to this part 3 to the state treasurer, who shall credit the fees to the fund. The fund consists of the credited fees and any money that the general assembly may transfer or appropriate to the fund.
(2)The money in the fund is subject to annual appropriation by the general assembly to the department for the department's direct and indirect costs in implementing and administering this part 3.
(3)The state treasurer shall credit all interest and income derived from the deposit and investment of money in the fund to the fund. Any unencumbered or unexpended money in the fund at the end of a state fiscal year remains in the
