Text
(1)The members of the board of public
hospital trustees within ten days after their appointment shall qualify by taking the
oath of office. They shall annually organize and operate as follows:
(a)Unless otherwise authorized under the provisions of paragraph (b) of this
subsection (1), they shall elect one of their number as president, one as vice-president, and one as secretary. No bond shall be required of them. The county
treasurer of the county shall be treasurer of the board of trustees and shall receive
and pay out all moneys under the control of said board as ordered by it but shall
receive no compensation from such board. No trustee shall receive any
compensation for services performed but may receive reimbursement for any cash
expenditures actually made for personal expe
