Text
(1)The office shall identify and apply for available federal grants and other funding
to further its work to prevent gun violence. When the office determines it is
appropriate, the office may work in collaboration with other state departments and
partners to identify and apply for federal grants and other funding.
(2)The office may seek, accept, and expend gifts, grants, or donations from
private or public sources for the purposes of this part 12.
(3)The office shall expend funds annually on a public education campaign
regarding the availability of, and the process for requesting, an extreme risk
protection order pursuant to article 14.5 of title 13 and as described in section 25-20.5-1203 (2)(a).
