Text
(1)There is hereby created in the
department the primary care office for the purpose of assessing and addressing
unmet needs concerning health-care professionals, resources, and infrastructure
across the state. The executive director of the department, subject to the provisions
of section 13 of article XII of the state constitution, shall appoint the director of the
primary care office, who is the head of the office.
(2)The primary care office and the director of the office are type 2 entities,
as defined in section 24-1-105, and exercise their powers and perform their duties
and functions specified in this part 4 under the department.
(3)The primary care office includes the Colorado health service corps
advisory council created in section 25-1.5-504.
