Text

(1)Except as otherwise provided in the federal Safe Drinking Water Act, the provisions of this part 2 shall apply to each public water system in this state; except that the provisions of this part 2 shall not apply to a public water system that:
(a)Consists only of distribution and storage facilities (and does not have any collection and treatment facilities);
(b)Obtains all of its water from, but is not owned or operated by, a public water system to which such regulations apply;
(c)Does not sell water to any person;
(d)Does not authorize incidental use of untreated water; and
(e)Is not a carrier that conveys passengers in interstate commerce; or
(f)Prohibits, through ordinance, resolution, or other enforceable enactment, the use of its system, or connections thereto, fo
