§ 24-80-1001 — Legislative declaration

Dr. Florence Rena Sabin, deceased, is hereby declared to be the person designated by the state of Colorado as the citizen of the state of Colorado illustrious for her historic renown and for her distinguished civic services and deemed worthy of commemoration pursuant to Act of Congress of July, 1864 (U.S. Code, Title 40, Sec. 187), and Congressional House Concurrent Resolution No. 47 passed February 24, 1933 (47 Stat. 1784), and whose statue shall be placed in the national statuary hall in the capitol of the United States.
