Text
(1)The governor may appoint a
designee to serve as the governor's official representative to the compact and to
perform all functions in connection with the business of the compact.
(2)Provisions and policies of the interstate mining compact may not be
construed to limit, repeal, or supersede any law of the state of Colorado.
(3)(a) The governor and the legislature, or agents of either, may inspect the
books and accounts of the commission at any reasonable time while the state is a
member.
(b)A copy of the bylaws of the commission must be placed on file with the
department of natural resources and be available for inspection at any reasonable
time by the legislature or any interested citizen.
(4)The state of Colorado is not liable for the obligations or solvency of:
