§ 24-55-102 — Conveyance by city in aid of project

(1)A city or government, upon such terms and for such consideration as it may determine, may grant, sell, convey, or lease any of its property to an authority or the federal government, or render the usual municipal services, or provide and maintain parks or other facilities adjacent to or in connection with a project. A city may enter into an agreement with an authority or the federal government to open, close, pave, or change the grade of streets, roads, roadways, alleys, or other places, to install sidewalks, to change the city map, and to plan, replan, zone, or rezone any section of the city.
