§ 24-51-907 — Form of survivor benefits and single payments

(1)Survivor benefits shall be payable if received by persons specified in section 24-51-905 (1)(a) or (1)(c) or 24-51-906 (1)(a) or (1)(c).
(2)A single payment shall be payable if received by persons specified in section 24-51-905 (1)(e), (1)(f), (2)(b), or (2)(c) or 24-51-906 (1)(e) or (1)(f).
(3)Surviving spouses or dependent parents specified in section 24-51-905
(1)(b), (1)(d), and (2)(a) and in section 24-51-906 (1)(b) and (1)(d) shall be paid survivor benefits unless they also qualify as a named beneficiary specified in section 24-51-905 (1)(e) or (2)(b) or 24-51-906 (1)(e), in which case they may elect to receive a single payment or survivor benefits.
