Text
On or after January 1, 1998,
if survivor benefits are payable under sections 24-51-1736 to 24-51-1746, such
benefits shall be deemed to accrue as of the first day following the death of the
member or the first day when the first beneficiary becomes eligible, whichever is
later, and shall be computed and payable from that date accordingly.
