Text

(1)The general assembly finds and declares that:

(a)This part 7 is intended to strengthen regional talent development pipelines to meet workforce demand;

(b)The state has an opportunity to fulfill demand for workers, which will allow the state to meet its strategic goals and generate high-quality careers; and

(c)The grant program and related services described in this part 7 are important government services.

(2)Therefore, the general assembly creates the regional talent summit grant program to address these needs.
