Text

(1)There is created in the division of criminal justice in the department of public safety the crime victim services advisory board, referred to in this section as the advisory board. The advisory board is a type 2 entity, as defined in section 24-1-105, and exercises its powers and performs its duties and functions under the division of criminal justice in the department of public safety and the executive director of the department of public safety, referred to in this section as the executive director.
(2)(a) The advisory board consists of at least seventeen members appointed by the executive director, including but not limited to:
(I)A judge;
(II)An elected district attorney, the assistant district attorney, or a chief deputy district attorney;
(III)A member of a crime
