§ 24-35-102 — Executive director - annual report

(1)There is created the office of the executive director of the department of revenue, who is the head of the department. The executive director shall be appointed by the governor, with the consent of the senate, and shall serve at the pleasure of the governor. The reappointment of an executive director after initial election of a governor shall be subject to section 24-20-109. Whenever any law of this state refers to the director of revenue, such law shall be deemed to refer to the executive director of the department of revenue. The executive director of the department of revenue is a type 2 entity, as defined in section 24-1-105.
