Text
The state telecommunications
director, working in coordination with the division of homeland security and
emergency management, shall ascertain what means exist for rapid and efficient
telecommunications in times of disaster emergencies. Operational characteristics
of the available systems of telecommunications shall be evaluated by the office,
and recommendations for modifications shall be made to the state
telecommunications director. It is the intent of this section that adequate means of
telecommunications be available for use during disaster emergencies.
