Text

The department is authorized to seek, accept, and expend grants or donations from private or public sources for the purposes of this part 4; except that the department may not seek, accept, or expend a grant or donation that is subject to conditions that are inconsistent with this part 4 or any other law of the state. The department shall transmit all private and public moneys received through grants or donations to the state treasurer, who shall credit the same to the Colorado bureau of investigation grants and donations fund, which fund is hereby created and referred to in this section as the fund.
