Text
(1)The general assembly shall
annually appropriate the necessary funds to the department for use by the office
for the purposes of this part 28.
(2)The office may use up to twenty-three and one-half percent of the money
annually appropriated, as follows:
(a)Up to three percent of the money annually appropriated pursuant to
subsection (1) of this section to pay for the direct and indirect costs that the office
incurs to administer the grant program;
(b)Up to three percent of the money annually appropriated pursuant to
subsection (1) of this section to contract with a research and evaluation partner and
the office's own grant program evaluation-related costs;
(c)Up to seven and one-half percent of the money annually appropriated
pursuant to subsection (1) of this section to
