(1)To more
efficiently support the efforts of state departments, state institutions, state
agencies, law enforcement agencies, and any public safety political subdivisions,
and to better serve the public, a state public safety communications network is
established, the construction, maintenance, security, and management of which is
under the supervision of the director of the office.
(2)The director of the division shall appoint assistants, clerical staff, and
other personnel as may be necessary to discharge the duties and responsibilities
set forth by this part 25.
