Text
(1)The director
shall adopt rules concerning safety and security to protect state personnel and
property owned or leased by the state, including, but not limited to, facilities,
buildings, and grounds. Unless under a state of emergency or alert as defined by
the rules, such facilities, buildings, and grounds shall remain open to the public.
(2)In adopting such rules, the director shall use as general guidelines the
building security and occupant protection standards in federal statutes,
presidential directives, and the rules promulgated thereunder, as amended from
time to time.
