Text
The general assembly recognizes that federal
legislation enacted in the aftermath of the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001,
including but not limited to the USA Patriot Act of 2001, has created federal
grants to assist states in creating and implementing plans to deal with terrorism. It
is the intent of the general assembly that all such grants and any other available
resources, including federal and private funds, grants, and donations, be pursued to
help defray the costs incurred in implementing this part 16.
