In the event that such school district and the respective local civil defense agency or authorities desire to perform an evacuation drill for any or all school buildings, the board of education of such school district and its officers, employees, and agents participating therein shall be relieved of all liability, except as otherwise provided by article 10 of this title, with regard to the accidental injury of any pupil during school hours from the time that the pupil leaves the school building until such pupil's return to the building at the conclusion of the evacuation drill.
