Text

(1)A regional entity may conduct and publish a regional housing needs assessment that conforms to the methodology for conducting regional housing needs assessments developed by the director pursuant to section 24-32-3702 (1)(c) for the territory covered by the master plan of any local government in the region.
(2)Upon conducting a regional housing needs assessment pursuant to subsection (1) of this section, a regional entity shall provide the regional housing needs assessment to each local government included in the region. Within sixty days of receiving the regional housing needs assessment, a local government's governing body shall review the assessment at a public meeting and shall submit comments to the regional entity.
