Text
There is created, as a
division of the department of local affairs, the division of local government. The
executive director of the department shall appoint a director to be the head of the
division. The director, and any assistants and employees of the division, are
appointed pursuant to section 13 of article XII of the state constitution. The division
and the office of the director are type 2 entities, as defined in section 24-1-105.
