Text
(1)Except as otherwise specifically
provided and subject to applicable provisions of the constitution, statutes, and rules
of civil procedure of the state of Colorado, every agency is authorized:
(a)To institute and appear as a party in original actions in the supreme court
of the state of Colorado and the United States supreme court in all causes, matters,
and proceedings involving the functions and duties of such agency where such
courts have original jurisdiction;
(b)To prosecute appeals in all cases, causes, matters, and proceedings in
which such agency is a party in the courts of this state and its subdivisions, federal
courts, and courts in other jurisdictions.
