Text
It is the duty of all sheriffs and police officers to
enforce this part 6, to receive complaints, to initiate investigations, and to arrest
and complain against any person violating this part 6. It is the duty of the district
attorney of the respective districts of this state to prosecute all violations of this
part 6 in the manner and form as is now provided by law for the prosecutions of
crimes and misdemeanors, and it is a violation of this part 6 for any such person
knowingly to fail to perform his or her duty under this section.
