Text
The department of state may
receive and expend any gift or grant, including federal funds, if such gift or grant
involves no state funds and is available for the purpose of exercising the powers
and performing the duties of the secretary of state as specified in section 1-1-107,
C.R.S. Subject to appropriation by the general assembly, the department may
provide matching funds when necessary to receive any such gift or grant.
