Text
If any board of county
commissioners willfully neglects to inquire and examine into the sufficiency of any
of the official bonds named in this article, each member of the board is guilty of a
public omission of duty and is liable in damages to any person who may receive
injury by such neglect, to be recovered before any court of competent jurisdiction in
this state by a civil action.
