Text
(1)(a) The
broadband infrastructure cash fund, referred to in this section as the fund, is
created in the state treasury. The fund consists of money transferred to the fund
pursuant to subsection (1)(b) of this section and any other money that the general
assembly may appropriate, transfer, or require by law to be credited to the fund.
(b)On July 1, 2024, the state treasurer shall transfer four million five hundred
seventy thousand seven hundred forty-one dollars from the general fund to the
fund.
(c)On July 1, 2025, the state treasurer shall transfer eight hundred forty-two
thousand three hundred forty-six dollars from the general fund to the fund.
(2)The state treasurer shall credit all interest and income derived from the
deposit and investment of money in the fund to the
