Text
(1)A person committed to the care and
custody of the department as an inmate who is transferred to another institution,
agency, or person for care and keeping, or who is transferred from a jail to the
department, shall be transferred with medical records and any other record
necessary and relevant to the nature and length of the transfer. Such records shall
be provided to the person or agency who will receive the inmate, and the receiving
person or agency shall acknowledge receipt of the records and approve of the
transfer.
