Text
(1)After notice and hearing,
the administrator may order a creditor or a person acting in the creditor's behalf to
cease and desist from engaging in violations of this code or any rule or order
lawfully made pursuant to this code. The order issued by the administrator may also
require the creditor or person to make refunds to consumers of excess charges
under this code and pay a penalty up to a maximum of one thousand dollars for
each violation, all or part of which may be specifically designated for consumer and
creditor educational purposes.
(2)A respondent aggrieved by an order of the administrator may obtain
judicial review of the order in the Colorado court of appeals. The administrator may
