Text
No action shall be brought by a lessee
under this article more than three years after the lessee knew or should have
known of the occurrence of the alleged violation. This section does not bar a person
from asserting a violation of this article in any action to collect the debt which was
brought more than three years from the date of the occurrence of the violation as a
matter of defense by recoupment or setoff in such action.
