A.If a juvenile is prosecuted as a chronic felony offender pursuant to section 13-501, subsection A or B, is convicted of a felony in criminal court and is placed on probation, the juvenile shall be incarcerated in the county jail for a period of not more than one year as a condition of probation.
B.If a juvenile is prosecuted as a chronic felony offender pursuant to section 13-501, subsection A or B in criminal court and is convicted of a felony in criminal court, the court shall provide the following written notice to the juvenile: You have been convicted as a chronic felony offender and you now have a historical prior felony conviction.
