Text
A.Felonies are classified, for the purpose of sentence, into the following six categories:
1.Class 1 felonies.
2.Class 2 felonies.
3.Class 3 felonies.
4.Class 4 felonies.
5.Class 5 felonies.
6.Class 6 felonies.
B.Misdemeanors are classified, for the purpose of sentence, into the following three categories:
1.Class 1 misdemeanors.
2.Class 2 misdemeanors.
3.Class 3 misdemeanors.
C.Petty offenses are not classified.
