Text
A.A civil action brought pursuant to this chapter may be brought in the county in which the property is seized or in any county in which an owner or interest holder is criminally convicted of the offense that gave rise to the seizure of the property.
B.A claimant or defendant may obtain a change of venue only under the same circumstances under which a defendant may obtain a change of venue in a criminal case.
