As used in this subchapter:
(1)"Hospital" means a hospital as defined in § 20-9-201 ;
(2)"Hospital employee" means any individual employed by a hospital whose compensation for services or labor actually performed for a hospital is reflected on the payroll records of a hospital;
(3)"Hospital pharmacy" means the place or places in which drugs, chemicals, medicines, prescriptions, or poisons are prepared for distribution and administration for the use or benefit of patients in a hospital. The "hospital pharmacy" may also provide pharmacy services to patients in a "swing bed" within the hospital that may periodically swing back and forth from being a short-term acute hospital bed to a longer-term nursing home bed.
